Now that I often pay large amounts in Italy with my creditcard I decided to do a little market research with the ambition to find a card with no currency surcharges and fees. Furthermore, the travel insurance is very important, specifically the compensation for the deductible for damage to the car or theft of the car, in order to avoid buying an extra insurance, super cover, from the rental company.
I managed to find a card from Santander bank with all the features I wanted.
