Cantine Benvenuto is a wonderful little vineyard in Francavilla Agitola, near Pizzo and the highway to Lamezia.
The vineyard is run by the owner himself, Giovanni, with only four employees.
The vines that are very local, some grapes are only grown here, covers about 5 hectares and only produces around 8000 bottles of wine.
The wine tasting is kept outdoors with views of the vineyards. The food consists of local cheeses and sausages, among other things.
The experience is much more familiar than at the vineyard Statti, located a few miles from here in Lamezia. Statti is also recommended, but this wine tasting and tour of the factory is the most amazing we have experienced!
